Best Tapas Restaurants in Woodbury

What a wonderful surprise! Great food and service. Warm greeting and perfect table for us and our service dog. Each of the tapas was delicious and the desserts...to leave room for -- Handmade Gelato and table side tiramisu. Delicious! We'll be back.

There is always a good meal to be had at Cafe Buenos Aires. We started off with the Calamari with chipotle Aioli sauce, Cooked to perfection. By far my favorite way to have calamari! I ordered the Chicken Milanese with comes with mashed potatoes. Such a huge portion I had to bring it home, only to enjoy another night. My husband had the NY Strip Steak. The waiters and waitresses are so nice and attentive. Make a reservation on the weekend. Enjoy!

My husband and I came here for our anniversary dinner and had a phenomenal meal. Every dish was better than the last. Our biggest surprise was how affordable it was given the quality of food felt like a 5 star dinning experience. The place is very small (or petite as the name suggests). The kitchen was a bit backed up but our waitress was extremely conscious of this and explained they had someone in training. She handled any delay exceptionally well given it was only her and the bartender servicing the entire restaurant. They were hustling and everyone including the chefs and kitchen staff which we caught glimpses of through the window in the door were working as a team. The food was absolutely incredible!we ordered the stuffed dates, fish tacos, tuna tartare, and the ravioli. Surprisingly our least favorite was the tuna tartare. It had a bit too much ginger for our liking but it was still delicious. The stars of the show were the dates and ravioli. Neither of us expected the stuffed dates would be the standout of the evening but every bite was better than the last. Our only complaint was how loud it was. The tables are very close together and the party next to us was very loud. Towards the end of our meal they had live music which is lovely but only amplified how loud it was and I was difficult for my husband and I to have a conversation. Next time we will plan to ask for a table outside. And there will be a next time! There are so many more things on the menu we would love to come back and try!
