My chicken snitzel was good and my son's tomahawk pork . Also the trifle and sticky toffee pudding. My husband had two starters Tempura squid which was tender and scotch egg which he didn't like. He felt the meat was packed and lacked flavour. Wine was good.

The restaurant had a lovely relaxed ambience and excellent decor. The food was AMAZING! The only shame was they didn’t have the pudding I wanted that was on the menu and the service could have been a bit quicker between the main and pudding! Would definitely go again and highly recommend!

We ate outside on the roof terrace which was great - weather was good. Excellent service from the new (her first day) waitress. There was 8 of us and we did have to wait a while for the food but it all came at once and was good quality and hot.

Great restaurant where the chef is also the owner. Really good menu with a variety of options. Good value for money too. The smoked haddock tasty was particularly nice.

Easy to book, service was good on arrival taken to our table straight away. Food was excellent. Atmosphere was good as they had someone playing a piano in the background. Considering it was not busy we did have to be patient as the food took 40 minutes to arrive. Will definitely be back.
