Best Comfort Food Restaurants in Deland

This was our first time to Bosphorous and we will definitely return. It's noisy, bustling, and intimate. The place was packed and I can understand why! The food is delicious! From appetizers to dessert - everything had flavor, the right temperature, and our tastebuds couldn't get enough of it. We did Magical Dining - perfect if you've never been to a restaurant. For a Prix-fixe menu, you get a nice sample of what they serve. We had the Sigara Boregi (creamy feta cheese in phyllo dough) and Falafel as appetizers. Main course was the Chicken Sis Kebap and Grilled Beef Adana Kebab both over rice pilaf with pickled red cabbage, beets and carrots. So tender, hot and flavorful. Dessert was heavenly! Dark Chocolate Mousse and Pistachio Baklava. Delicious. The place was packed full of patrons, but I say we still had a very intimate setting for the four of us. A bit noisy at times, but the staff kept moving, they were very attentive and we felt wonderfully taken care of from start to finish. We learned about new dishes and flavors from a restaurant we have walked by dozens of times over the years. We will not make that mistake again. And, we have Magical Dining to thank for it.

From the time we walked into The Pinery the experience was amazing…from the music, staff and management attentiveness…the drinks were fantastic…we had appetizers dinner and dessert enjoying magical dining…had a great time will definitely be back . The acoustic guitar and singer was a great date night atmosphere!!

Amazing food with several unique selections. Absolutely loved everything and will be coming back to try more food options soon!

Had a great time the crab boil was very good. The service was fantastic.
