Best Lunch Restaurants in Sunniside

We've been to many nights here and it's always outstanding. Dare I say, the best restaurant in Newcastle? Oh, I Dare! It's one of our favourite places. Staff, food, drink and service are second to none. An absolute gem 😎✌️❤️

Great food, great service and a very welcoming place to dine

Our first time visiting, and it certainly won’t be our last! The interior and ambience were absolutely amazing. The food was wonderful, the staff were incredible, and the cocktails were lovely. A fantastic experience from start to finish — we can’t wait to return!

Our party had various dishes and all were exceptional. Great options for gluten free. Servers were really nice, but it was a busy Friday night so we weren’t checked in on very much. I don’t think this is the fault of the servers, a lot of other patrons seemed to demand attention at all times. Perhaps more servers would be ideal or certain sections being assigned? Overall I’d still absolutely recommend this place - it’s beautiful inside and out, great location, tonnes of options for both food and drinks and exceptional quality. The price was really reasonable too and staff were friendly and really helpful when it came to dietary restrictions. We’ll definitely return based off this visit

Returning for a second lunch at Kiln in Ouseburn proved that their high standards are no fluke, delivering another exceptional midday meal that matched the brilliance of the first. Every dish arrived with the same vibrant, Middle Eastern-inspired flavors, precise seasoning, and careful preparation that made the initial visit so memorable. From the satisfying plates to the charming setting, a second trip confirms this spot as an absolute gem that easily maintains its first class quality.
