Excellent food- we had the porterhouse with two different sauce, macaroni and cheese, the greens, sourdough bread, some wine and cocktails plus a crème brûlée and shortbread. Kyrios was an amazing server with so much personality. We give this a 12 out of 10!

The food was excellent. The staff friendly and helpful, although I would suggest when customers ask for water that they check whether tap water or bottled. My husband is non drinker and always gets a jug of water for the table free of charge. However, he was charged £5 for bottled water. My only crticism.

Food was superb, really tasty would definitely come back - both really enjoyed it. Restaurant is on a separate level overlooking the bar. Nice atmosphere aswell.

Overall the Skillet is great! It would be nice to see a little more choice on the lunch menu. ( especially the small plates) Staff are lovely! Attentive but not intrusive. Definitely recommend 😊

    This was my first visit to Epicures since it changed hands last year. I love the new decor and layout, and the new menu is very good. I went for the two course meal at £24.50, with a glass of wine included, which I thought was very good value. There was live music that particular night (singer with piano accompaniment) - the quality was excellent and the volume just right. They seem to have other things happening on other days, so it’s quite an interesting place. The atmosphere was lovely and the staff were great. I’ll definitely be back soon!
