Blacklock is a modern take of the Great British chophouse nestled in the corner of a Grade II listed textiles warehouse. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails from the trolley and wine on tap in our subterranean chop mecca.     Another fabulous Sunday roast. I had the lamb and my husband had the beef. Great portion sizes, delicious produce and the gravy was to die for. We finished off with apple crumble with toffee sauce and custard - amazing.

    We came here as a family for evening meal. The food was very good with home made chicken pie, burger, fish and chips, and children's nuggets ordered. We had time constraints and asked the staff if desserts could get through the kitchen in time and they went and made them especially so we had time to enjoy. Excellent service all the way through with lovely clean premises and toilets (although the ladies could do with a bit of refurbishment). Would definitely go back and highly recommend.
