Saturday was a Seafood Buffet. Everything was very tasty and the ambience was good. In My opinion it had a reasonable price . The Service was excellent too. Go Well Dressed so you dont feel out of place.

I would not heaitate to recommend 11.47 to anyone in San Jose. We got the 5 course tasting menu with the drink pairing and every detail was sublime. Every ingredient had a story, each flavor complimented the others, the plating was creative and beautiful and we were mesmerized and delighted with each bite! The service was great … felt cared for without overdoing it. The dishes were a perfect blend of celebrating the farm to table and true to Costa Rica experience, while also elevating each dish with innovative takes on traditional flavors. For the final course, the dessert knocked it out of the park. They created a gorgeous coffee ice cream sloth, over a caramelized banana log with some type of crunchy brittle heaven drizzle. My description doesn’t do it justice … just take it from me and GO TO 11.47!

Had another amazing experience at Buena Vida. The coffee is outstanding and the food delicious. The owners’ values and passion for promoting regenerative coffee and supporting farmers in Costa Rica translate into fresh, delicious quality food. Their coffee experiences are highly recommended too. The place is a MUST for coffee lovers and anyone serious about great locally sourced food.
