Best Restaurants for Afternoon Tea in Newmachar

First time dining at The Tapestry, and very much enjoyed it. Stunning dining room, great service and a very nice relaxed atmosphere. Waiting staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive. Haggis pakora starter was amazing (best part of our meal), and our Chicken Curry & Cheeseburger main courses were also very nice. Too stuffed for dessert after a filling meal. Not the cheapest meal ...All in, just over £70 for: A shared starter (£12), Chicken Curry (£26.50), Cheeseburger (£24) and 2x Cokes (£8) but its' such a lovely setting and the beautiful food kind of made it acceptable. Would definitely eat there again, but on a special occasion only as in my opinion, it's not that affordable as a regular option ... however, I will state again, how much we enjoyed our meal. This really was a great dining experience !

The atmosphere was very nice a relaxing for a Sunday lunch. The food arrived promptly and we felt we were very well looked after.
