Welcome was warm and we learned it was the restaurant's 30th anniversary. Special of veal scallopini was very good. Another member of the party enjoyed the clams...small and fresh. The last member had lamb with some very good noodles.

What a beautiful view and wonderful ambience! Our waitress was fantastic- attentive, detailed with the menu and suggestions, and the food was amazing. The espresso martini was outstanding. And the whipped feta appetizer was delish. We also had the wagyu dumplings which were unique but tasteful.

My wife and I have a subscription to Broadway in Columbus. We are so happy to have discovered Soul 2 Go. It’s conveniently located a short walk from the theater and a great place for a meal before the show. We’ve been there several times and tried different things on the menu and have never been disappointed. Food is flavorful and the service is friendly and attentive. Shout out to Juju, who was our server during our last visit. She is everything you want in a server and helped elevate our experience. We’ve had other servers and they’re all great. Added bonus is that we got there during happy hour, so drinks were half priced. I recommend the Soul Sista. Overall, if you’re downtown near the statehouse or Ohio Theater looking for a delicious meal at a very fair price you can’t go wrong at Soul 2 Go.

The lobster ravioli was fantastic was not impressed with spaghetti and meatballs. Also had calamari appetizer that was very good with the peppers mixed in. Cannolis also fantastic to top off meal. Service was excellent.

We celebrated our son’s engagement. Lots of surprises happening so we arrived early, placed an order for champagne early and the got sat early. The staff was great! Flowers on the table, champagne open so when he and his Fiancée showed up, the table looked great and the surprise guests we able to surprise the couple. Thanks team!

Our first visit to J. Gilbert’s in Worthington was pure joy! We wanted to try a new place for my wife’s birthday and were not disappointed. The staff is warm and engaging. We were welcomed as we walked in and whisked back to a cosy, comfortable booth (these days many restaurants have 90 degree booth backs with meager padding that is uncomfortable - the seating here is perfect for enjoying a great evening with family, friends and business associates!) Our booth was already setup with celebratory hearts sprinkled around an oil lamp and a standing birthday card that let you know they were ready to celebrate with us. And celebrate we did! The hand-carved steaks and slab of prime rib (an excellent value by the way) were outstanding! You select your own steak knife of varying types from an assortment of cutlery on a velvet tray and the service by Abi was excellent. J. Gilbert’s is a modern twist on the classic great American steak and seafood carvery with an extensive wine list and handcrafted cocktails. We also had crisp lettuce wedge salads with an avalanche of bleu cheese and bacon chunks. And who could forget the perfectly baked and loaded potatoes. This is a neighborhood gem and we can’t wait to go back!
