Honestly the best culinary experience we've had in a very long time. The staff is very professional, warm and welcoming. The food was beyond expectation; colorful and filled with flavor. I can't imagine another restaurant pulling off the level of service we've received yesterday at Damas. We'll be back for sure.

Dinner at Les Mômes matched the room to the plate: quiet confidence, no theater. Both mains carried the same instinct: build the umami low and let the technique carry the rest. The halibut arrived beautifully poached, barely set, resting on a smoked eggplant purée with real char running through the miso. Coriander and yuzu cut across the top, but the eggplant carried the weight of the dish. Every bite tasted deeper than the ingredients on paper. The beef Wellington held a clean rosy center under pastry shattered on the fork, no sogginess, no shortcuts. The jus alone spoke to hours at the stove, reduced past sweetness into something closer to broth than sauce. The potato purée with the vegetables "du moment" with it was silk, not a garnish. Service matched the kitchen: attentive without hovering, paced without rushing. Worth the trip. Worth going back.
