My son brought me to Sage & Salt to celebrate a belated birthday dinner. This was one of the very best meals l have eaten since moving to Winston Salem from the Washington, DC area 20 years ago. One of the other very best dinners is when my son and daughter brought me to Sage and Salt last year for my birthday dinner. We started with cocktails and 2 appetizers: Steak Tartare and Mussels. Both were delicious and a good start to an outstanding dinner. My son ordered the Rainbow Trout and l ordered the Filet. Sometimes when we order medium rare steak it comes over cooked. This Filet was perfect and so tasty. His Rainbow Trout was also great. We were treated to a complementary ‘to die for’ piece of decadent chocolate cake to share in celebration of my birthday. I highly recommend Sage & Salt for special occasions or when you want delicious food.

Great service for our business dinner. Great menu options for varied tastes and everyone loved what they ordered. Great atmosphere inside and outside on the patio.

We've been big fans of Bistro Roca since our initial visit about five years ago. Last night was our first meal at the Hellbender's location; we'll definitely be back. Our server was excellent and witty; the food was wonderful. I still tear up when I think of what was lost in the fire...but the spirit is alive. Well done Team!

We were celebrating our anniversary. The staff made it very special for us. The bar tender even wrote us a story on the Embers card. The short ribs were to die for. Lovely evening. Will definitely go back.
