Best Romantic Restaurants in Bamburgh

Our party had various dishes and all were exceptional. Great options for gluten free. Servers were really nice, but it was a busy Friday night so we weren’t checked in on very much. I don’t think this is the fault of the servers, a lot of other patrons seemed to demand attention at all times. Perhaps more servers would be ideal or certain sections being assigned? Overall I’d still absolutely recommend this place - it’s beautiful inside and out, great location, tonnes of options for both food and drinks and exceptional quality. The price was really reasonable too and staff were friendly and really helpful when it came to dietary restrictions. We’ll definitely return based off this visit

Three times in two weeks we enjoyed the BEST fish and chips EVER! ANYWHERE!! One of us loved the whole Lobster Thermidor, chips and salad feast as a treat one day and Whole Sole with shrimp another day. The other had the BEST Scallops and black pudding starter on the third visit to celebrate a birthday! Fabulous, friendly and thoughtful staff. Lovely atmosphere AND they are genuinely Doggie friendly too!! We highly recommend The Potted Lobster at Bamburgh. You’ll definitely need to book!!

Wonderful experience. The Jolly Fisherman is such a quaint cosy pub restaurant right by the shore . The views from the upper level restaurant are exceptional. With a lovely ambiance. Staff are so welcoming and efficient. The sea food themed menu showcases the North Coast sea fare. We highly recommend this little gem

The ambience is really nice. The staff are excellent. The food is lovely. Could not fault anything.

Food was great, we had 3 course and each was very nice Especially enjoyed the Cumberland Sausage and Mash - awesome gravy :-) They offer a discount if you dine before 6.30pm so for 3 courses, wine and a coffee was under £80 for two.
