- WWillNew York City •4 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoPLONK was my partner and I's favorite restaurant experience in Mexico City - hands down! The entire team was kind, knowledgeable and genuinely excited about the food they were presenting. They were also patient with our broken Spanish - even taking the time to teach us some new words. The food was fantastic - every dish we had was perfection - the Spicy Udon, Catch of the Day Ceviche & Passion Fruit Pannacotta were particular favorites. A red wine was suggested to us and it paired perfectly with the meal. We sat at the bar which gives you a behind-the-scenes view of the kitchen and we even had a chance to chat with the Lead Chef Flor - she was great! The ambiance/vibe is spot on - not too loud, not too quiet and the crowd was very chill/not pretentious. We will definitely be back!More infoPLONK$$$$• International• Condesa / Roma•4.7

- CChristineGoldSeattle / Eastern Washington •6 reviews5.0Dined on 18 May 2026Incredible experience. We are very, very picky with Italian food and this lived up to our expectations of Italian with a lil Mexican twist. The Olaf was excellent, a fun drink with just a hint of smokiness & chocolate. The Ambar was a perfect pre dinner drink for me, a little sweet but a great opening act and so drinkable. On the sweeter side though so keep that in mind. The wine was quite good and I was able to try a couple wines to decide which was a good fit. Im so glad too, because I would have been disappointed in what I naturally would have chosen if I didnt try something new. The bluefin tuna was excellent. The flavors paired so well and the portion was the perfect appetizer size. The gnocchi is a cant miss item for us. Its perfectly made and cooked with a hearty red sauce and ricotta paired with spicy chiltapin peppers that were super spicy so tread lightly with them. The octopus was cooked perfectly and so tender. The sauces were delightful with it. The risotto was great because the mushrooms were great and the lemon adds a much needed hit of acid. Next time I will probably try something else in place of this, but its not a bad choice by any means. I am not a tiramisu fan, but I happily at the pistachios and cream while ny partner finished the rest. Overall, this is a place I would absolutely return to on my next CDMX visit and Im excited to explore more of the menu!More infoOlaf$$$$• Contemporary Italian• Juárez/Cuauhtémoc•4.7
