Best authentic Indian cuisine I’ve ever had. Get the 24k Dal and thank me later

My wife and I had an excellent lunch at the Indian Street Food Co. on our recent visit to Toronto. The restaurant is conveniently located on a very popular stretch of Bayview Avenue in the Leaside neighbourhood. We had made a reservation and were warmly greeted by the host before being promptly seated. We had a limited time for lunch and simply ordered the saffron chicken korma and khatte meethe baingan (eggplant) with basmati rice. The food was exceptionally good, but the eggplant preparation was particularly noteworthy. Its sauce was velvety smooth and somewhat sweet, but still beautifully balanced. The menu offers so many choices, including a selection of beautiful looking thali at lunch and extensive tasting menus, too. The expert and kind service only added to our lunch experience. The restaurant undoubtedly earned its recognition by the Michelin Guide. We have already recommended the Indian Street Food Co. to family and would absolutely return when we next visit Toronto.

I have been following Sunny’s Chinese on Instagram for a few years and finally made it with a group of colleagues. We were all very impressed with one declaring that it was the best Chinese restaurant they’d been to. The food was delicious. Our server Rosa was fabulous. Had a wonderful experience with restaurant, staff particularly Raj and Jyotsna when we booked Leela for celebration of Anniversary of our daughter. Food quality was very good, good and prompt service and overall nice experience and good value for money.

Best Mexican spot in the GTA! Highly recommend to everyone!
