We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at the Caledonia Restaurant in the beautiful mountains of Helen GA! The ambiance and food were perfect! I got the ribeye and it was cooked to perfection! Reagan was our server and she was very helpful in answering our questions and making suggestions. We will definitely be back!

The service was wonderful—from the friendly host who checked us in and seated us to our amazing server, Morgan. She was bubbly, outgoing, kind, and super attentive. Our food was fantastic: my husband enjoyed the red snapper (or redfish) with Parmesan risotto and collards, while I had the beef short rib with whipped potatoes and spiced cauliflower. Honestly, the spiced cauliflower was my favorite part—totally delicious. We shared the brownie Bundt cake for dessert; I had two glasses of dry Pinot Grigio, and my husband had a Cabernet. They were so accommodating with our infant, making sure our table fit the stroller and offering extra help if we needed it. We’ll definitely be back and hope to become regulars.

Our waiter was so intuitive. One of the people who was dining with us had a meal that was not good and she didn’t say anything, but I think he could tell when he asked how everything was. At the end of the meal he came back without us even asking and comped her Meal and even gave her wine half off. Because of that we will definitely be back.

Our server was great! I think her name was Michelle. (Apologies if I am wrong.) We started with the cheese plate. All the cheeses were great, and the chutneys that were served with them were very complementary. We ordered 3 different main courses. I had the grilled salmon and it was very well seasoned. The rice and green bean sides were also very yummy. The rack of lamb and filet mignon were ordered by others at the table with rave reviews. We got dessert to go, and there were no complaints either. For wine, we had one of the Cōtes du Rhône bottles which was recommended by our server. It, too, was excellent! We will definitely go back!

As always the chargrilled oysters were divine ! Seafood gumbo delicious !! I got th grilled scallops and subbed risotto for the potatoes and got a 5.00 up charge . Thought that was excessive as Arborio rice is pretty cheap . M husband had the flounder also delicious .

We absolutely loved our experience! The food was delicious, but what truly made our visit special was the outstanding customer service. Everyone was so welcoming, attentive, and friendly. The mariachi on November 2nd made the atmosphere even more beautiful and special. It was such a lovely touch! We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!
