Best Neighbourhood Gem Restaurants in MGM Grand Detroit

We went to celebrate a birthday and it was great. Antonio took care of us and he was outstanding and also has a great sense of humor. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great with the piano playing in the background made for a memorable evening. Will definitely go back.

As a first-time visitor to Detroit, I’m so glad I chose Parc out of the many incredible restaurants I could have visited with my limited time in the city. With it being game day, the atmosphere was absolutely electric—you could feel the energy the moment you walked in. The vibe was lively, exciting, and exactly what I was hoping for. Our server, Tru, was outstanding and truly made the experience even better. His hospitality was exceptional, attentive without being overbearing, and he made us feel genuinely welcomed from start to finish. The avocado toast was absolutely delicious. The bread tasted freshly made in-house, and you could really tell the difference—it was light, flavorful, and incredibly fresh. I also ordered the steak and egg omelette, which did not disappoint. The quality and portion of the steak were excellent, and every bite was satisfying. Overall, this was a 10/10 experience. If you’re visiting Detroit and only have time for one dine-in meal, CHOOSE PARC! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I took a friend to Takoi for his birthday and, funny enough, I didn’t realize until we got there that he had been before and it’s actually one of his favorite restaurants. It was my first visit, and I completely understand why he likes it so much! The food was delicious, and I really loved the shareable portion sizes because we were able to order several things and try a little of everything. We had the papaya salad, pork collar, pork ribs, and curry noodles, and everything was so flavorful. We finished with the birthday coconut ice cream, which was a little different from what I normally order for dessert but absolutely delicious. The service was amazing from start to finish. I described the type of flavor profile I like in a cocktail, and the bartender delivered perfectly. We also had a reservation, arrived on time, and our table was ready right on schedule, which I always appreciate. Overall, such a great birthday dinner experience. Great food, drinks, service, and atmosphere. I would definitely come back!

This is my second time eating here. The first time was for brunch and the food and vibe was amazing. I came this time for dinner for a date night and the food was still great and vibe was definitely there. Staff was friendly and attentive.

We find Joe Muer Seafood Detroit is always a perfect experience. The delicious food, Calvin always provides perfect recommendations and the service combined with the ambience all make for an absolutely wonderful experience!
