We had a great time here! The food was amazing I got a fillet mignon with this mushroom type gravy over mashed potatoes and asparagus. It was great the steak was cooked how I asked for and it was a perfect portion. My wife got the petit surf & turf and that also came out great the shrimp and pasta was really good and so was the steak! We would both get our entrees again. We also ordered calimari and the flavor and sauce was really good but the breading was very crumbly and would fall off the calamari often but it was still good. Our server Adriana was amazing she kept up with the refills great my water never got below halfway and made sure to always check on us to see things were going good. The Merlot was great with the steak and the martini was great as well. We also had the trippe chocolate mousse cake for my wifes birthday and it was soo good! Overall 10/10 experience we will come back here again!

As my partner is from Lima, Peru, her taste buds were tingling with excitement, and we had an absolutely fantastic dining experience! This Peruvian-Mexican fusion restaurant brings together two incredible cuisines in a way that feels creative, flavorful, and completely satisfying. I ordered the Tallarín Saltado. The combination of flavorful beef, perfectly cooked pasta, and savory Peruvian flavors was outstanding. Every bite had something going on, and the huacatay sauce really brought the dish together. She ordered the Picante de Mariscos, and it was every bit as impressive. The seafood was delicious, and the sauce had just the right amount of heat without overpowering the delicate flavors. What really stood out was how beautifully the restaurant blends Peruvian and Mexican influences while still letting each ingredient shine. The portions were generous, the food was packed with flavor, and everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. If you're looking for something beyond the usual Mexican or Peruvian fare, this place is absolutely worth trying. We left completely satisfied and already talking about what we want to order next time. Definitely a restaurant we would recommend and return to! Visit Amar when you are in El Paso, TX; you will not be disappointed!
