This hotel and restaurant are a gem and a must-visit dining experience, with friendly staff, outstanding flavors, and attention to detail you shouldn't overlook. Our favorite was the cooked-to-perfection ostrich, the beautiful texture of the grits, and the rare find of amazing black garlic in the mashed potatoes. Their attention to our guests' food allergies and the server's utmost care to ensure we had a great experience were outstanding. Moving forward, this will be our go-to place for an overnight stay and dinner. If you're local, make it your regular spot.

This was our first visit to Perry Street Chophouse, and as it was my birthday, I had high expectations. I love an intimate environment, as well as good food and good service, and Perry Street Chophouse met all of my expectations. Heather, our server was a true veteran and she made excellent recommendations, from the best bourbon for my Manhattan cocktail to all of the food choices, from the appetizer to the complementary birthday dessert. We started out with the mussels, which Heather said was her favorite item on the menu. They were phenomenal, better than most I’ve had. For my entrée, I had the petite filet with the Veal demiglaze and a crabcake. The crabcake wasn’t really a cake, it was just big chunks of crab. The filet was one of the best I’ve ever had, tender, juicy, and flavorful. My husband had the 16 ounce New York strip steak with bone marrow butter. He loved it. Our server was extremely attendant without being overbearing. All in all, it was a great birthday experience with the intimate atmosphere I was hoping for, nice piano music in the background. I highly recommend Perry Street chophouse for an all-around high class dining experience.

The owners were on site and active in the service - a rare trait nowadays. Friendly staff, amazing vibe, incredible food! 10 out of 10.

My wife and I had dinner at McCray’s Tavern on the Square in Lawrenceville last night, and we couldn’t have asked for a better Sunday evening. Our server, Marshall, was relatively new, but you certainly wouldn’t have known it from the service. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure we never lacked for anything throughout our meal. We started with the Tavern Chips, which were absolutely amazing and definitely worth ordering. My wife had the Reuben, and I went with the Southwest Bowl. We were both very happy with our meals and enjoyed a couple of cold draft beers along with dinner. Good food, great service, a relaxed atmosphere, and an enjoyable evening together. A special thanks to Marshall for taking such good care of us. We’ll definitely be back!
