- LLisaVancouver / British Columbia •4 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoOutstanding. We booked 5 months ago for a trip back to Wales after seeing friends share on social and it did not disappoint. Food was fantastic, service was brilliant. Staff are obviously well trained to high standards, and go the extra mile - my dad grew up in Blaenavon and our hostess found pics of old Blaenavon on her phone to show him. Standouts for us were the Taste of Welsh Beef and Thai red curry with cod. Banana sticky toffee pudding was amazing. Will be rebooking for the next visit!More infoButterflies Steakhouse££££• Steakhouse• Pontypool•4.9

- LLouisBirmingham/West Midlands •1 review5.0Dined on 29 May 2026Without a doubt some of the best food I’ve ever had, and possibly the best Chinese/Korean food I’ve had anywhere. Incredibly fresh, clearly hand prepared and executed, the flavours were incredible and beautifully balanced. The Rendang was powerful but not overpowering with mouthwatering chicken. The rice was stamped perfectly, fluffy and sticky and paired beautifully with all the dishes. The bibimbang was refreshing, a lovely savoury flavour with fresh vegetables and fantastically seared steak, and the honey chicken rounded out our mains amazingly. The pan fried beef dumplings were juicy and packed with sweet and savoury flavours, with bouncy and tender dumpling wrapped around excellently cooked beef dripping with umami flavours. Paired with a fresh, sweet and spicy chill sauce. We were blown away, the service was lovely and we enjoyed a few flavours of Soju. We’ll be recommending Janet’s to anyone who will listen, and we’ll be back soon. Thank you so much!More infoJanet's££££• Chinese• Pontypridd•4.8
- PPaulSouth Wales •1 review5.0Dined on 27 May 2026We were given a gift voucher , and an excellent gift it was. We were greeted at the door by friendly staff and shown to a table of our choice. We both had a ribeye steak and it was delicious. The staff were attentive but not overly and very courteous. We were delighted with our afternoon and will definitely be returning soon.
