Dining at The Old Inn on the Green is an extraordinary experience: fine wine, great food, attentive, knowledgeable service and the dining rooms illuminated only by candle light. Chef and Owner Peter Platt, along with his team, work to create innovative and memorable meals that are an event unto themselves. Currently, we are offering a $95 prix fixe menu with 5-6 choices per course every night we are open. The hours for dinner are Wednesday through Sunday 5:30pm to 9:00pm for both indoors and in a new screened outdoor Covered Patio. The wine list is graced with an array of thoughtfully selected estate bottled wines from France, California, Italy and around the world. In addition to candlelight, in the colder months there are wood burning fireplaces in each room. A copy of our current menu can be found on the home page of our website www.oldinn.com.     I had dinner with a friend visiting from Florida last night. We had not seen each other in person in several years so we had lots to catch up on. We told our serve this and she was wonderful at not making us feel rushed or pressed at all. The food was absolutely delicious and the server helped us understand portion size so we did not "over order." Every interaction with staff was lovely.

    Two of us went out on a Friday night for date night. The experience was positive. It was our first time going there and we absolutely will go back. The food was terrific with great portions and delightful flavors. Service was wonderful except I didn’t get a fork so that was the only little negative but my partner and I shared his fork and that was kind of romantic. The price was perfect.

    I just love the new and improved Max-A-Mia: the entrance, the ambiance, the surroundings, the menu, the high top tables, the service, everything! My FAVORITE Entree is the Branzino Filet!!! It is so delicious and the salad that accompanies the filet is perfect! I have gotten this entree the last 3 times that I have dined at Max-A-Mia. IF you have not tried this entree, I highly recommend it to you!
