Josies is always an amazing night out! It is our go-to in Stanthorpe if we want to show off the best of The Granite Belt to new family and friends who have never visited. The staff are always attentive, the food is 10/10 and the atmosphere is great! Highly recommend the set banquet which is a great taste of everything. You are guaranteed to go home full and happy :)

We booked an outdoor table, and being out of town we underestimated how cold it actually gets - however Varias was well prepared for the cold weather outside and had small blankets ready and gas heaters set up for keeping us warm. The wait staff were so friendly and gave great recommendations and tips when we ordered. We ordered the beef spare rib entree and the pork belly entree, and WOW. The size was perfect and they tasted amazing. Well worth the price we paid for them. For mains, we ordered the chicken breast, and the eggplant parmigiana. Again, these meals were so worth the price, the taste was amazing and the portions were well worth it. I can’t give a better review all the way from the service we received at the entry, to the moment we left. Fantastic, and we will be back when we pass through Stanthorpe again!

Essen somehow gets better and better each time we visit. The food is just amazing, super fresh from local producers. We often bring friends along who are equally impressed with the concept and quality.

We stayed at the Inn for a 2 night mid week break and dined in the restaurant both nights and each morning for breakfast. For every sitting the food was nicely presented, tasty, well cooked and made from the freshest ingredients. The servings were massive and would satisfy guests with the biggest appetites. It was great to have nice meals on site, with a good range of options, as eating out would involve a bit of a drive. Wouldn’t hesitate in recommending the restaurant and the Inn for stays in the Stanthorpe area.
