A beautiful Italian restaurant up on the Rows. Very thoughtfully lit and felt very Italian. The food and wine were both outstanding (Spaghetti Carbonara and Ragu Tagliatelle, with 3 meats that melted in the mouth). The staff were very attentive, maybe overattentive at times, but nothing was missed. We will definitely return!

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary and her birthday at The Ivy in Chester, and we had a truly wonderful experience. The restaurant was beautiful, the food was brilliant, and the service was exceptional from beginning to end. Two members of staff in particular, who I believe were Rebecca and Melissa, helped make the occasion so memorable. They were friendly, attentive and incredibly helpful, making us feel very welcome and ensuring our celebration felt extra special. Thank you to the whole team for a fantastic afternoon. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will definitely return.

Good service delivered with a smile. Excellent food and good portion sizes. Pleasant setting, with good comfy seats but just lacking a little atmosphere. We will go again.
