I have called in today but got central reservations, just to say both bar staff and waiting staff were superb last night, we came as a family for a birthday , the staff were all very polite and happy , the food was hot , and we had a lovely time . We consider ourselves 'regulars', having made multiple visits, which in itself says a lot. Our recent visit was with two friends, one had never been before, the other had been before the refurbishments. They both thoroughly enjoyed it, in every way, food, quality, price, service, ambience, and the fact that the staff took interest in the dog one had brought with him. This is the second time we have visited with a dog, and both times the staff go out of their way to help you, they have a special water fountain and dog bowls and doggie treats. NEWS: They have now launched special doggie dinners so your pooch can eat alongside you. I can only commend John the Manager and his staff, all are friendly, attentive and genuine. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, we will be trying their Afternoon Tea next. Grant (resident within 6 miles)

Sunday roast was very good with the exception of the Yorkshire Pudding which was undercooked - dessert, a tiramisu cheesecake was excellent. One slight criticism of service - we ordered pork loin and had to request some apple sauce; should have been provided!

Great restaurant, great welcome when walking in. Staff were so polite and friendly could not do enough for you. Food was amazing lovely and hot when it got to your table so fresh. 😋 well done to all that work there great team. See you all soon

Food was delicious. Prices were quite high so if you are ordering a few different things it can add up. That said we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would definitely visit again! Highly recommend giving them a visit.
