There were 3 in our party, all of whom are vegan and one is also gluten free. The staff were very helpful explaining the options that were available for us all and even suggested us changing one of the orders as they realised they could not actually make it gluten free. The food was excellent and the whole experience was superb. Thank you.

The waiter was very polite and really good ambience. Really like bathroom decor and good food .On the whole it was a really good dining experience with family. Would have been better if we were NOT rushed for next course . We had to request few times to give us some time before we can have next course.

Good food. Service was terrible, cold staff and no birthday wishes given even though we came for a birthday celebration. Felt rushed and staff were standing right by our table as we ate so we felt uncomfortable and rushed. No bartender so couldn’t have cocktails and we were only informed of this on arrival. The service was literally the worst I’ve ever experienced. If it’s too late to seat someone, turn them away. Put such a downer on my sisters birthday. Would never recommend to anyone for this reason. I emailed the resturaunt and still no response over two weeks later so now leaving public review.

Good selection of sushi and hot dishes. Tasty chilli edamame to start, followed by sizzling beef cubes. Seared nigiri was a tad overdone but it was a nice meal overall. Thanks

The staff are really friendly. The black cod was amazing. The rest of the food was good quality ingredients but no show stopper in terms of sushi selection. The music is awful and sounds like a broken music box doing terrible covers of Disney songs. And the toilets are pretty disgusting.

I visited Akatuki for dinner last Thursday and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. We ordered a prawn tempura and the Akatuki sushi roll, but waited an hour with no sign of our food. During that time, we placed additional orders and asked the staff to check on the delay. Only then did we learn that our original order had been mistakenly canceled by the staff. I asked them to reorder everything and requested to see the check to confirm it was correct. Even then, they entered the wrong item again—nigiri instead of the sashimi we ordered. They apologized and offered complimentary drinks and the sashimi to make up for it. However, we ended up waiting yet another hour, and when the rest of the dishes finally arrived, the sashimi was still missing. At that point the situation felt completely unreasonable. The staff apologized once more and offered free dessert, but we were already too disappointed and declined. We simply paid the bill and left. Overall, the repeated mistakes, long waits, and lack of coordination made this a very frustrating dining experience. I hope the restaurant can improve its service, but I would not return based on this visit.

The food was great and the servers were nice, but the table was so small we literally didn't have space to keep all our dishes on them. With the hot pots on there which had both flame and hot liquid it felt really hazardous trying to either stretch over them to get to the rest of our dishes or try to eat around them. We were also so close to the table next to us we kind of felt like we were sharing our meal with strangers. We also orders the 2 sake flights with sashimi but the sake took ages to come so we ended up having to chase it with the server.

A truly delightful experience, the food was exceptional, bursting with freshness and authenticity. The cosy atmosphere, adds to the charm and makes it all the more inviting. You can feel the care and passion in every dish. Service was warm and attentive. Absolutely worth a visit, I left already wanting to return.
