From the appetizers to the desserts, everything was tasty. The waiter gave us good advice for selecting our meal. I started with mussels which were delicious but I was unable to eat them all. The waiter told me afterward that it was a plate to be shared by two... Which lead me to mild criticisms: the light was very low and I had a hard time reading the menu, and the surrounding noise prevented any attempt to have a normal conversation. Nonetheless, we like that restaurant.

Excellent Monday evening dinner with margaritas and martinis which were also excellent! Unicorn fish was interesting and delicious as was the scallops and shrimp… All preceded by Imperial… Will definitely be back! Like the drink and wine specials that they offer And their frequent Diner program… Cheers

To our surprise, the food was under-seasoned, which was let down. Perhaps this lack of flavors didn’t help appreciate the pairing with the wines we tasted. Overall, service and ambiance were very good. We look forward to better flavors in the September event.

During my visit, the overall service felt noticeably disorganized. After being seated, it took nearly 20 minutes before anyone came over to clean off two tables near us. Throughout the meal, we had to call our server over multiple times because they weren’t checking in, and we noticed the same thing happening with another table and a different server. What stood out most was seeing more than ten employees gathered near the kitchen area talking and laughing as if they were having a group meeting. Meanwhile, guests were waiting for basic service. Details like this matter — customers notice them. This is how a restaurant begins to deteriorate: not because of one big issue, but because of small signs of declining attention and care. I’m sharing this because the food is good and the place has potential, but the service experience needs stronger leadership and awareness. A restaurant succeeds when the staff is attentive, present, and focused on guests, not distracted in the back.
