Kagoshima Special is a Ramen created by Chef/ Owner Kei-san himself. Extra chashu and a whole egg float at the base of this large bowl of ramen, and in the center there is a generous portion of mixed steamed vegetables. Topping the entire bowl off is a large pinch of our fried burdock root, a labor of love that adds a textural contrast and an earthy flavor to the soup. The burdock is piled in a way that is representative of the volcano on Kagoshima which is still active to this day.
