Lovely front of house people and simply sensational food. Wouldn’t be surprised to see this place get a star next year. Outstanding. Only bit of feedback would be to get an automatic closer on the door. We were sat by the door and so many people left and didn’t close it so I was up and down all night shutting the door, But food and service couldn’t be faulted

Food was excellent quality, but not very hot (had been sat on the pass for a while) and the service was ok but quite inconsistent.

An exceptional experience at Teal — five stars all around! We had a table for two last night, and everything about the experience was outstanding. The food was absolutely exceptional, the service was warm and personal, and the atmosphere was just incredible. This was my second visit to Teal, and while the first was already fantastic, this time was even better. It’s rare to find somewhere that not only lives up to your first experience but manages to surpass it. A special mention must also go to the music. The playlist was brilliantly curated and added so much to the overall vibe of the restaurant. It’s clear that thought and care go into every detail, creating an experience that feels genuinely special. From the food to the service, the atmosphere and the music, Teal gets everything right. A truly memorable evening and an easy five stars across the board. I can’t wait to come back!

What a fantastic experience. The food was exceptional as was expected. Having watched Sally on TV, it was a pleasure to finally get to eat in her restaurant. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The restaurant is small, yet remains cosy with a lovely atmosphere. The food was very good value for the effort needed to create such tasty courses. The wine was slightly on the pricey side. Already looking to our next visit. It was a great way to celebrate a special birthday. Thank you.

Ate at Teal yesterday evening, very belated birthday celebration. Such friendly staff, very warm welcome. And a birthday card from Sally Abe and the team with a little jammy dodger present! Lovely food. Highlights were the excellent scotch egg, cooked to perfection , the knife and fork bacon, the exceptional venison dish, and all the puddings (there were only two of us but we had all three!). Can highly recommend this as a relaxed dining experience, with a thoughtful menu, well cooked using fresh ingredients, and served by people who really care about their customers. Wine list is interesting but a bit pricey, by the glass options are good value though. Oh and the Penny Lick was excellent too! Thanks to all at Teal for a great birthday meal.

We managed to book a Sunday lunch service for a birthday celebration, it was, in very way, a delight and our birthday person received a handwritten card and a home made jammy dodger with a candle before the puddings came. The food was uniformly wonderful and the service was warm, kind and very professional.
