We had such a lovely time at The Bank celebrating my husband’s birthday. The whole experience was wonderful, and the service we received from Ram was exceptional. He was incredibly attentive, welcoming and made sure we were well looked after throughout. He really helped make the birthday celebration feel extra special. Thank you, Ram, for such fantastic service we’ll definitely be back.

We had a very nice experience at the Pod. The Pod was lovely and we could connect our phones to the Bluetooth speakers and listen to our music. The temperature was perfect. The food was delicious. Complements to the chef on the day and waiter on the day. Only thing was it was busy so service levels were not the best. The waiter John made a special complimentary treat for my wife’s special bday. We loved it.

Welcoming atmosphere and superb service! I had the pleasure of having the Royal Thali buffet which was absolutely delicious. The portions are just right and absolutely scrumptious. All dishes were fresh and piping hot and smelt wonderful. Highly recommended and I will definitely return for another amazing experience.

I was genuinely surprised to find such a gem on Kenton Road. Ustav delivered one of the best food and service experiences I’ve had in a long time. Every starter — pathe ki chaat, tandoori hummus, pani puri and kurkure bhindi — was full of flavour, fresh, and prepared with real attention to detail. The mains were just as impressive: the veg handi was beautifully spiced, the lasooni palak paneer had the perfect garlic balance, and the veg biriyani was aromatic and cooked exactly right. The plain roti, butter naan and laccha paratha were soft, warm, and served at the perfect time.What stood out even more was the service. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful. Since it was my birthday, they surprised me with a 20% discount, a 25% discount card for my next visit, and a complimentary dessert — such a kind gesture that made the evening feel special. The combination of amazing food, perfect portions, and exceptional hospitality puts Ustav well above most high‑street restaurants. A fantastic find and a place I’ll definitely return to.
