Hertfordshire Restaurants

We chose this restaurant to celebrate a birthday as it features ingredients and menus from sustainable sources. Both meals were delicious and they bought out a birthday ice cream with candle for my partner! Some options like the two courses for a set price were not served with vegetables so you had to pay for them in addition. There was also an option to have one course and a free drink but we’d already ordered our drinks and the glass of wine was a 175ml and the offer only included a 125ml. Rather annoyingly, this had not been explained by waiting staff at the time of ordering and that size was not an option on the drinks list. Having said that we loved to food and the calm stylish setting. The staff were friendly but did not pester or hover. Would definitely go again now we know how the offers work!!

Great service at the Ivy St Albans branch. A huge thank you to Sheila who was full of effervescence and very attentive. Enjoyed being introduced to the team. Lovely to be spoilt with a complimentary dessert for our anniversary which was delicious. Thanks!

Fabulous annual crawfish boil, and good service. Some adjustments would have been good - some sauce to dip, a little more sausage. A little bit of entertainment/music would have improved the ambience. But we had a great time - recommended to friends and would do it again.

I’ve had the hippy bowl before, without added chicken. The bowl and food portion were much larger!
