Rarely does a restaurant hit all marks across the board. This is the BEST soul food restaurant I’ve ever been to, and I live in GA. Spectacular all around, I cannot wait to make another trip to Philly just to eat here again.

We had a table of 5, celebrating two birthdays. Two of us arrived first, were greeted warmly, and seated immediately. When the specials were described, we were told which were in short supply, and the one we wanted was held for us. The food was very good, hot, hot, hot, perfectly seasoned and prepared. Our server was friendly, kept us informed, and didn't rush us. The special cheesecake was a memorable treat, light enough, but with a subtle vanilla flavor. The live piano music was a special treat. Our family had a wonderful evening at La Fava. One of our go to places for special occasions, family dinners, brunches, and lunches.

My husband and I celebrated our 20th anniversary and this experience was amazing!!! Our server, Josh was amazing including playing a beautiful playlist for us and even recording us while we danced, with our permission from my phone of course. The food was amazing and we will definitely return soon!!

My new favorite place for lunch! Their lunch 3-course tasting menu is amazing. They currently offer a pay what you can lunch ($25,$35,$55). I thought $55 was a bargain: harvest salad, branzino, and bean pie. These are really dinner options @lunch. The counter seating provides a wonderful space for solo dining, with awesome service. It’s a beautiful grand, historic place … tho a bit high in decibels with the tall ceilings. I’ll be back soon to try the other options. It’s no wonder honeysuckle keeps on getting awards. A great team!
