We ordered a mix of sushi, chicken bao buns, and chicken and vegetable noodles. Every single dish hit the mark: Chicken Bao Buns: Absolutely incredible. The texture of the bun was outstanding—cloud-soft, airy, and perfectly pillowy. Noodles: Delicious and deeply flavorful without feeling heavy. The dish was beautifully balanced, and the quality and texture of the noodle dough itself was spot-on. Sushi: Fresh, expertly prepared, and a wonderful addition to the meal. Beyond the food, the ambience made the night extra special. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and relaxed. We especially appreciated the comfortable, low noise level, which made it so easy to sit back, enjoy each other's company, and have a great conversation without having to shout over the music. The quality of the sushi was outstanding, with the very friendly chefs chatting us through the menu and teaching us about the sushi. The staff were so accommodating, I am coeliac and I felt so safe as staff were very knowledgeable. We also took our little dog along, who was very spoilt being fed treats and made very comfortable. We’ve been a couple of times; the ‘set for success’ platter is fabulous, we had additional crab cakes. This restaurant makes Japanese food at a different level.
