Best Comfort Food Restaurants in New Market

We are regulars, so take it with a grain of salt. Food was excellent. Drinks were well mixed. Service was, as always, exceptional. We always bring visiting guests to Showroom. It never disappoints.

The menu at Vintage has improved a TON. Just an outstanding meal for both of us with my wife ordering off the regular menu and me off the specials list. Both were flavor bombs. We've been back twice in recent time after not hitting it for a long time. It's back on the list.

When we asked our 16 year old where he wanted to eat on his 16th birthday the answer came quickly! We had a great celebratory birthday dinner!

Always good place to go for last minute reservations. Pretty consistent quality.

Years ago we ate at The Food Market in Hamden, Md., so when we had to be in Columbia, Md. for a meeting near dinner time, we decided to try the Columbia Food Market. We were not disappointed. The evening began with some beautifully made cocktails: my wife had the 'newgroni' and I had an agave-flavored Marguerita. Both were fantastic and put our meeting far into the distant past. We shared some crispy brussel sprouts which always shock me when they are this good because I am from the day when Brussel sprouts were served like soggy toilet-paper. Then my wife had noodles with mushrooms and peas and I had a "Baltimore Club"mod shrimp salad with a crab cake.... WOW! Both mains were terrific. No dessert, but we drove back to Baltimore VERY HAPPY!
