We had a fantastic dinner once again at The Reading Room. My only issue this time was that the selection of wines seemed to be limited. Our first choice of white wine was not available … no problem we selected another, but then our choice of red wine was also not available so we again had to make another selection.

This is our second visit and we’re just as impressed! Good quality meat - seasoned well and cooked to perfection. I’m gf and loved the fact there was an option for gf bread. Staff were very good at checking all the items I ordered were gf. Music is just in the background, so you can easily have a conversation. Had a lively evening….we’ll be back! 😊

Absolutely beautiful food and excellent above and beyond service! I reserved a table for my husband's birthday and it was absolutely incredible. The food portions were generous and absolutely delicious. Service was impeccable and we had such a great time. My husband received a small cake on a lovely plate saying happy birthday, which I wasn't expecting! Thank you so, so much.

We had a family meal Sunday late afternoon, the mains (roasts) were very well presented and a good quantity. Service was very good, not overbearing but attentive. The meat was good quality and the vegetables not over cooked, also the gravy was very good.
