Best Lunch Restaurants in Camino

Great food and a beautiful atmosphere! Everything we ordered was delicious and full of flavor. The service was excellent, and we had a wonderful experience. Definitely a great place for a nice dinner—we’ll be back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My wife, son, and I ate at The Independent for dinner after spending the day in Apple Hill, and it was a great way to end the day. All three of us ordered the filet mignon medium rare, and every steak came out cooked perfectly. That alone impressed us because it can be hard to get multiple steaks at the table prepared exactly right. The filets were tender, flavorful, and really well done. We enjoyed the atmosphere, the food, and the overall experience. We would definitely eat here again the next time we're in Placerville. Highly recommend The Independent!

Dropped in last minute for a late dinner of Marguerite pizza and chicken piccata. Both were delicious! The crust out of the brick oven is perfectly crisp, perfectly chewy, and just a tad singed; fresh mozzarella and fresh basil.  it was difficult to save room for the second course. The chicken breast could have been a bit more tender, but the sauce was delicious, bright and tangy without any heaviness; capers provided the perfect salt balance.  At the moment we walked in the door, to the moment we walked out, the wait staff were incredibly attentive.  very friendly. Making sure water glasses stayed full. Making lovely recommendations, including the chicken piccata.  we were debating whether to get the linguine and clams. Very happy to hear that the hot peppers can be withheld. Next time! 

Such a great experience! the ambiance was amazing, the food was incredible, the service was so good! I can’t rememeber the last time i went to a restaurant and had such a good experience. The food was taking a little while to come out but we hadn’t even noticed since we were enjoying our drinks and appetizers and the manager came over and apologized for the wait and offered us free drinks for our wait! She didn’t even need to do that because we hadn’t even noticed till she mentioned it and that just made an already great experience even better. 10/10! i don’t know how i haven’t been here sooner

We went for my sisters bachelorette dinner and it was delicious and our server was such a Gem! The food was delicious. We highly recommend!
