Had an amazing dinner here with my daughter, and GURA GURA completely exceeded our expectations across the board. We ordered a mix of sushi, chicken bao buns, and chicken and vegetable noodles. Every single dish hit the mark: Chicken Bao Buns: Absolutely incredible. The texture of the bun was outstanding—cloud-soft, airy, and perfectly pillowy. Noodles: Delicious and deeply flavorful without feeling heavy. The dish was beautifully balanced, and the quality and texture of the noodle dough itself was spot-on. Sushi: Fresh, expertly prepared, and a wonderful addition to the meal. Beyond the food, the ambience made the night extra special. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and relaxed. We especially appreciated the comfortable, low noise level, which made it so easy to sit back, enjoy each other's company, and have a great conversation without having to shout over the music. A fantastic spot for a memorable dinner—we will definitely be back!

I never post reviews but the staff were so helpful and lovely I wanted to say a big extra thanks to them for making the birthday meal so lovely. Highly recommend.

We visited 64 Goodge Street to celebrate my father’s birthday lunch, and it was a genuinely happy experience from start to finish. We had one wheelchair user in our party, and the staff could not have been more accommodating, helpful, and welcoming. The waiting staff were fantastic—always smiling, highly attentive, and they brought a wonderful sense of humour to our table, making jokes that kept us all laughing. The food was absolutely great, and the restaurant had a lovely, friendly vibe. Thank you to the whole team for making my dad's birthday celebration so special. We will definitely be back!
