We really enjoyed our visit. We were in the mood for some authentic fish and chips and after a quick google search we found the Square Grill close to our hotel. We were seated promptly at a window seat in the bar area and as a bonus there was a piano man playing. Service was excellent and the fish and chips was perfect. Highly recommended.

Brilliant meal, beautiful pub with beautiful courtyard garden, kind and very helpful staff, made us and our two small children feel very at home. The Sunday roast was delicious, we all opted for beef, the meat was tender, lovely vegetables and Yorkshire pudding, love the option to have a ‘half portion’ for diners with smaller appetites - these were perfect for my kids who loved the meal too! Meringue and raspberry roulade was beautiful! We would 100% visit again when in the area Thank you again for a great meal and experience

My friends have regular get togethers at The Village Inn since it’s recent renovation, which is to a very high standard and makes the pub a warm and welcoming environment. The menu is varied which pleases us, a varied group of ages and likes. The food is always great and good value. And the staff couldn’t be friendlier or helpful. We have another booking for this week. Enough said!

First time at the Jazz Brunch. The singer was John Prescott and he was absolutely brilliant. All the staff were friendly. Great service and very tasty food.
