Our experience at Bloacklock was fantastic! The service and wait staff were incredibly friendly and did a great job of checking in on the table but also giving us our space. They made expert recommendations on the menu and explained what each item was when we were served. The food was absolutely incredible and came to the table in good timing. All around great experience at the Blacklock!

Best roast in London. Had to book well in advance to get in for a Sunday Roast, but WELL worth it.

As always the staff were warm friendly and very attentive their standards did not slip even though they were very busy and run off their feed.
Food was good the chips and sauce was a bit more salty than usual. The waitress exchanged the sauces very promptly.

Good, fun ambiance but perhaps very slightly on the noisy side so might be better for parties rather than a quiet date venue

Our 4th visit in the last 12 months. Has become our go to restaurant when in London. Although London was quiet due to coronavirus Blacklock was as busy as usual with its friendly staff and great ambiance. We always go for the "All In" as you get a selection of meat and 2 x sides. Would definitely recommend.
We took our 3 children and there partners to Blacklock for our sons 18th last Saturday we have been coming here for a few years now and it has never disappointed. You don’t need to wait for drinks the waiting staff are fantastic and on the ball the food (all in) is amazing and it is great value for money. I also love the Blacklock Sunday roast it’s amazing

We had a great dinner with a lovely steak and very interesting and tasty sides. We also tried their non-alcoholic drinks which were a welcome change from the usual soft drinks.
Amazing as always. Got taken care of a great deal, and our server was fab as were all of the other staff. Always thoroughly enjoy it every time we come!

Went for Sunday roast. Lively room, lots of great energy. Fantastic drinks, wine, and the food! We were stunned by the huge portions, swearing that we couldn’t possibly eat it all....and yet we did...and had dessert! The food was stellar! We will be back.

Wonderful food , simple and no frills but cooked beautifully and full of flavour. Platter for 2 was perfect amount of food , you got love your meat , couldn’t resist the cheesecake it was to die for ! Buzzing place with great service and atmosphere

Worth the hype and glad to have had a booking so far in advance to look forward to. The service was friendly yet informative and it was a nice touch being able to sample all 4 red wines on tap before selecting my choice.
The roast itself was cooked beautifully- we went for the All In and usually roast beef is my preference for roasts, but the lamb and pork were equally as nice here. Good size portions, generous but not ridiculously so.
Only niggle would be the dessert offering - we opted for a white chocolate cheesecake which was very heavy and bland and stretched the definition of “cheesecake” to the max - it was really some lightly broken biscuits and very loosely set mascarpone. We didn’t come for dessert and we will go back for the roast but other places like Hawksmoor offer much better desserts so perhaps an area to improve on?
It took a while to be seated and then served. But once we got the waiters attention it was bliss until leaving the door !

The Place is very nice. The best Sunday Roast so far. Writers always fill in your glass when it's half empty. Food amazing, cheesecake as well.
