Built in 1591, the Tolbooth Tavern in Edinburgh was formerly part of the original Canongate Tolbooth. This medieval building was used to divide the Royal Burgh of Edinburgh and Canongate.     3 Blind Mice is not your average pizza place, its something else - its absolute MUST when in Edinburgh and you like pizza. The restaurant is just off Royal Mile and what a fantastic ambience, interiour and of course food it has! Opted for crispy meatballs and wild boar salami pizza from specials. Thinnest crispy base and plenty of topping made it very enjoyable. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and couldnt recommend 3BM highly enough. (There is a reason why this place comes up as the best pizza place in Edinburgh on google :) )

    Absolutely loved brunch at Loudons! Food was delicious, service was fantastic, and drinks were great as well. Their Mediterranean avocado toast was phenomenal pared with a Bellini. Highly recommend if you need a quick bite before wandering around the city or if you want a leisurely brunch on a Saturday afternoon. Perfectly located and quite easy to walk to from most places in old town; may be a bit of a hike if you’re further in new town, but probably no more than 20 or so mins.
